Baseball Game Preview: Eastside Rams vs. West Port Wolf Pack

The Eastside Rams will head out to square off against the West Port Wolf Pack at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Eastside's hittershaven't had much luck over their past four matches, but Tuesday's contest will give them a chance to turn things around.

Eastside came up short against Gainesville on Tuesday, falling 12-1.

Eastside saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Rodney McClellon Jr., who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Meanwhile, West Port was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 10-0 to Lake Highland Prep. That's two games in a row now that the Wolf Pack have lost by exactly ten runs.

Eastside's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2-2. As for West Port, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.

Eastside might still be hurting after the 11-1 defeat they got from West Port when the teams last played back in March of 2024. Can Eastside avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
