Soccer Game Preview: South Spencer vs. Forest Park

South Spencer is 2-8 against Forest Park since October of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Rebels will square off against the Rangers at 5:00 p.m.

South Spencer managed to keep up with Heritage Hills until halftime on Thursday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Rebels lost 4-0 to the Patriots. While losing is never fun, South Spencer can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana soccer rankings (they are ranked 266th, while Heritage Hills are ranked 93rd).

Meanwhile, with a playoff win on the line, Forest Park rose to the challenge on Monday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Vikings 3-2.

South Spencer's loss dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Forest Park, the win got them back to even at 8-8.

South Spencer might still be hurting after the 8-0 defeat they got from Forest Park in their previous meeting last Saturday. Can the Rebels avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
