Meanwhile, Dunbar was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were beaten by Coolidge 57-8. The Crimson Tide were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 37-4.

Jackson-Reed's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Dunbar, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.
