Evergreen Park waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Thornton Fractional North Meteors a 17-0 shutout. The Mustangs have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Meteors, too.

Evergreen Park's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-10. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Thornton Fractional North, they are on a 14-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-17.
