Softball Game Preview: Lakeside Rams vs. White Hall Bulldogs

The Lakeside Rams will head out on the road to take on the White Hall Bulldogs at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.

Lakeside is leaving town to face White Hall after disappointing their home crowd in their season opener. Lakeside lost 18-8 to Arkansas on Tuesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Rams in their meetings with the Razorbacks: they've now lost five in a row.

Meanwhile, everything went White Hall's way against El Dorado on Thursday as White Hall made off with a 27-1 win. The victory continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won nine in a row.

Kenley Daniel looked comfortable as she struck out six batters over two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in March of 2024.

At the plate, Lilly Eubanks was a standout: she went 1-for-4 with one home run, four runs, and four RBI. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high. Allie Rushing was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing Two bases. while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.

Lakeside skirted past White Hall 7-6 in their previous matchup back in March of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Lakeside since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
