Baseball Recap: Century Takes a Loss

The matchup between Century and Blackfoot on Monday hardly resembled the 3-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Diamondbacks came up short against the Broncos, falling 25-1. The Diamondbacks just can't catch a break and have now endured five losses in a row.

Century's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Blackfoot, they pushed their record up to 7-2 with the win, which was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Century will head out on the road to take on Bear River at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Blackfoot, they will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Bonneville at 3:00 p.m. The Bees will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something the Broncos surely won't give up without a fight.
