Volleyball Recap: Arcadia Comes Up Short

The home team had come away the winner the last five times Arcadia and Crescenta Valley had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Apaches fell 3-1 to the Falcons on Tuesday. The Apaches haven't had much luck with the Falcons recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

While Arcadia ultimately came up short, they really made Crescenta Valley work, particularly in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 20-25, 27-25, 25-23.

Arcadia's defeat dropped their record down to 18-10. As for Crescenta Valley, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 23-12 record this season.

Arcadia will challenge Polytechnic at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Crescenta Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
