Baseball Recap: Fountain-Fort Carson Takes a Loss

Fountain-Fort Carson lost against Cheyenne Mountain back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Fountain-Fort Carson Trojans came up short against the Cheyenne Mountain Red-Tailed Hawks, falling 15-1. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Fountain-Fort Carson saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nathan Illert, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Fountain-Fort Carson's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Cheyenne Mountain, they pushed their record up to 4-0-1 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, Fountain-Fort Carson will face off against Lewis-Palmer at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Cheyenne Mountain, they will challenge Pine Creek at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
