Softball Game Preview: Brady Bulldogs vs. Legacy Ranch

The Brady Bulldogs will face off against Legacy Ranch at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. Brady is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.5 runs per game this season.

Brady was handed a 15-run defeat in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Thursday. They skirted past Cleburne 7-6.

The team relied heavily on Gracie Galindo, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. That stolen base marked the first that she stole this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Emory Ross, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one stolen base and two RBI.

Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for Legacy Ranch's offense. They came up short against Shoemaker on Thursday, falling 12-0. Legacy Ranch has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Brady is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.3 runs over those games. Legacy Ranch's loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
