A well-balanced attack led Locust Fork over Southeastern in every quarter on their way to victory on Tuesday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Hornets blew the Mustangs out of the water with a 61-22 final score. The Hornets pushed the score to 48-19 by the end of the third, a deficit the Mustangs had little chance of recovering from.

Haley Dutton had an outrageously good game as she posted 21 points and five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Cortlyn Williamson, who scored 12 points and five assists.

Locust Fork smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 18 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds every time they've taken the court this season.

Locust Fork now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Southeastern, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 3-2.
