Wink lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Van Horn, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Tuesday's match. Wink was the clear victor by a 12-2 margin over Van Horn on Tuesday. With that victory, the Wildcats brought their scoring average up to 6.1 runs per game.
Viviana Flores made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 13 batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off two hits (and not a single walk). She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with five stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI. She also hit two doubles, marking her first of the season.
