Volleyball Recap: Cherryvale Comes Up Short

Cherryvale lost against Independence on September 9th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Chargers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-10.

Cherryvale's defeat dropped their record down to 5-18-1. As for Independence, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-8-1 record this season.

Cherryvale wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 0-0 tie against Waverly on the 27th. As for Independence, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Columbus on the 27th.
