Recap: Jackson-Olin Mustangs vs. Parker Thundering Herd
The Jackson-Olin Mustangs's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their 20th straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 70-23 loss at the hands of Parker. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Jackson-Olin has scored all season.
Parker got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Nathen Henley out in front who scored 16 points. Mykell Echols was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Jackson-Olin's defeat was their 11th straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-20. As for Parker, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 19-8 record this season.
Jackson-Olin will head out on the road to take on Parker at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Parker is not getting complacent, as they presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Jackson-Olin in Alabama (Parker is ranked 29th, while Jackson-Olin is ranked 328th). As for Parker, they will look to defend their home court against Jackson-Olin at 7:30 p.m.
