Baseball Recap: Cimarron-Memorial Takes a Loss

If Cimarron-Memorial was feeling good fresh off their 17-2 takedown of Pinecrest Academy Cadence last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Spartans lost 12-0 to the Durango Trailblazers on Wednesday. The Spartans haven't had much luck with the Trailblazers recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Cimarron-Memorial's defeat dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Durango, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 17-6.

While Cimarron-Memorial had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
