Baseball Recap: McNair Comes Up Short

McNair was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 20th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the River Islands Riptide. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Riptide this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-0 last Tuesday.

McNair's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for River Islands, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.

Coming up, it'll be a Battle of the Birds when the Eagles duke it out with the Falcons at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. As for River Islands, they will host Chavez at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
