Soccer Recap: Granger Comes Up Short

Granger was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They lost 4-1 to the Warden Cougars. That's two games in a row now that Granger have lost by exactly three goals.

Granger's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Warden, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Granger will take on La Salle at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Granger are facing La Salle at the right time seeing as La Salle are stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for Warden, they will face off against Naches Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Warden will be up against Naches Valley's rather soft defense (which has allowed 4.82 goals per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
