Basketball Game Preview: Haddon Heights Garnets vs. Woodbury Thundering Herd

Haddon Heights and Woodbury are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2015, but not for long. The Haddon Heights Garnets will look to defend their home court on Thursday against the Woodbury Thundering Herd at 5:30 p.m. Woodbury took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Haddon Heights, who comes in off a win.

Having struggled with five defeats in a row dating back to last season, Haddon Heights turned things around against Haddon Township on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Hawks by a score of 40-30.

Meanwhile, Woodbury was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 68-56 hit to the loss column at the hands of Gloucester City. The contest was a 27-27 toss-up at halftime, but the Thundering Herd couldn't quite close it out.

Haddon Heights came out on top in a nail-biter against Woodbury when the teams last played back in January, sneaking past 65-62. Does Haddon Heights have another victory up their sleeve, or will Woodbury turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
