Soccer Recap: O'Neill Comes Up Short

There was early excitement for O'Neill after they claimed the first goal on Wednesday, however, they wouldn't score again. They fell 3-1 to the Beacon Bulldogs. O'Neill haven't had much luck with Beacon recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

O'Neill's goal came courtesy of Asher Dabkowski, who's now up to five this season.

O'Neill suffered their first road loss, dropping their record down to 10-2-2. As for Beacon, their win bumped their record up to 6-4-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. O'Neill will host Liberty at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Beacon, they will look to defend their home pitch on Monday against Monticello at 4:30 p.m.
