Newark Memorial was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The final score came out to 25-6, 25-22, 25-12.

Meanwhile, Moreau Catholic made easy work of Kennedy on Thursday and carried off a 3-0 win. The Mariners haven't had any issues with the Titans recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-19, 25-14.

Newark Memorial's defeat dropped their record down to 10-14. As for Moreau Catholic, their win bumped their record up to 11-13.
