Basketball Recap: Libby Blythe Key Part of a Team Effort in Huskies Win

Evansville North saw some tournament action on Friday. They secured a 54-48 W over the Lebanon Tigers.

Evansville North's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Libby Blythe, who posted 17 points. Blythe's afternoon made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Evie Sale, who had 12 points and five steals.

Several Tigers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Claire Boling, who went 7 of 13 on her way to 14 points and seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Ali Bir, who put up ten points.

Evansville North has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.8 points per game. As for Lebanon, their loss dropped their record down to 7-7.
