Softball Recap: Greeley Comes Up Short

Greeley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mamaroneck Tigers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Quakers of the 15-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2017.

Greeley's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Mamaroneck, they now have a winning record of 8-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Greeley will venture away from home to square off against Mahopac at 11:00 a.m. on the 16th. As for Mamaroneck, they will head out to face off against North Rockland at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
