Their defense stepped up to hand the Hutchinson Tigers  an   8-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won three matchups by four  goals or more  so far this season.
 Their offense was hitting Hutchinson from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. 
 Jackson Ocampo led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.
 New Ulm pushed their record up to 5-1 with that  win, which was their third straight  on the road. As for Hutchinson,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 0-2.
 New Ulm didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next  match,  a  4-0  victory vs. St. Peter on the 10th. Hutchinson has also already played their next contest,  a  6-0  loss against Jordan on the 10th.
