Football Recap: Davidson Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Davidson lost against McGill-Toolen back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Warriors took a blow against the Yellowjackets, falling 42-7.

Micah Spivey threw for 73 yards on ten of 17 attempts. On the ground, Aundre King rushed for 43 yards.

Davidson now has a losing record of 2-3. As for McGill-Toolen, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-4.

Coming up, Davidson will welcome Daphne at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Warriors will need to watch out since the Trojans have now posted at least 31 points in their last five contests. As for McGill-Toolen, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Blount at 7:00 p.m. on October 10.
