Baseball Recap: Sentinel Wins Going Away Against Apache

Sentinel made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Apache, but they still couldn't quite topple them. Sentinel was the clear victor by a 16-2 margin over Apache on Friday. That looming 16-2 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Sentinel yet this season.

Sentinel has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.3 runs over those games. Apache is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sentinel will square off against Fairview at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Apache, they will venture away from home to face off against Carnegie at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday.
