Recap: Rising Sun Tigers vs. North East Indians
The Rising Sun Tigers won the last time they faced the North East Indians, and things went their way on Friday too. Rising Sun simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat North East 60-18 at home. The win made it back-to-back wins for Rising Sun.
Rising Sun's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Allison Stoudt, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 13 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan Lynch, who dropped a triple-double on 10 points, 10 rebounds, and 11 steals.
Rising Sun's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for North East, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rising Sun will take on Tri-State Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. North East will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Elkton at 6:00 p.m. on January 4, 2024.
