Volleyball Recap: Leroy Bears vs. Millry Wildcats

Leroy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Millry Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, with their most recent loss being a 3-1 defeat two weeks ago.

Millry found their leader in freshman Sawyar Brown, who had 25 assists and two aces. Brown has been hot for a while, having posted 17 or more assists the last nine times she's played.

Leroy now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Millry, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 15 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season.

Leroy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Millry, they have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Washington County on the 1st.
