Basketball Recap: Waterloo Christian Victorious

Waterloo Christian's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They snuck past the Colo-NESCO Royals with a 58-54 victory. The Regents have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Royals, too.

Waterloo Christian has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season. As for Colo-NESCO, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 14-7.

Coming up, Waterloo Christian is taking a road trip to take on Denver at 7:45 p.m. on Monday. Denver knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 18 matches -- so hopefully Waterloo Christian likes a good challenge. As for Colo-NESCO, they will host AGWSR at 8:00 p.m. on Monday. Colo-NESCO is facing AGWSR at the right time seeing as AGWSR is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
