Softball Recap: Winamac Takes a Loss

Winamac and Jimtown squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Winamac had to settle for second. They lost 7-1 to the Jimmies. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Warriors have suffered since April 25, 2024.

Winamac saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brooke Rausch, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Winamac moved to 20-7 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Jimtown, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 15-12.

Winamac does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Jimtown, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 4-2 loss against Knox on the 29th.
