Basketball Recap: Cooper Shull Key Part of a Team Effort in Mules Win

After losing to Drexel the last time they met, Lone Jack decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Lone Jack Mules snuck past the Drexel Bobcats with a 45-41 win on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Mules.

Lone Jack got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Cooper Shull out in front who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 11 boards. Those 11 rebounds gave Shull a new career-high. Christopher Bates was another key player, putting up seven points and five boards.

Lone Jack is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-10 record this season. As for Drexel, their loss dropped their record down to 12-6.

Lone Jack has already played their next matchup, a 64-34 win against Santa Fe on the 4th. As for Drexel, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 52-50 defeat against Lakeland on the 3rd.
