Football Recap: Weston Starts Season with Loss at Home

Weston unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They received a blow on Friday as they fell 28-14 to the Medfield Warriors. The Wildcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Warriors apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Weston will welcome Boston Latin Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Medfield, they will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Dracut at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
