Preview: Midway vs. Bryan
The Midway Panthers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Bryan Vikings at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Midway is coming into the contest hot, having won their last seven games.
Midway scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They never let Copperas Cove onto the board and left with a 7-0 win. The result was nothing new for Midway, who have now won four matchups by four goals or more so far this season.
Meanwhile, after soaring to four goals the game before, Bryan were a bit more limited in their matchup on Tuesday. They fell 3-1 to Weiss.
Midway pushed their record up to 12-1 with that victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 14 goals over those four games. As for Bryan, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-5-4 record this season.
