Arcadia had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They put the hurt on the Monrovia Wildcats with a sharp 3-0 victory on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for the Apaches in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won four in a row.

Arcadia not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Monrovia between 17 and 19 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-17, 25-18.

Monrovia moved to 3-2 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Looking ahead, Arcadia will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against San Dimas at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Monrovia, they will head out to face off against Maranatha at 6:15 p.m. on Monday.
