Recap: Harrison Panthers vs. Mitchell Marauders
The Harrison Panthers's game last Monday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They breezed by Mitchell at home to the tune of 41-13. The team accrued 29 points in the first half and coasted on those for the win.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Harrison to victory, but perhaps none more so than Nadia Turnipseed , who almost dropped a triple-double on 9 points, 10 rebounds, and 11 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Nyleen Brown, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 12 rebounds.
The win got Harrison back to even at 1-1. As for Mitchell, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Harrison will head out on the road to face off against Liberty at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Mitchell, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Wheat Ridge at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
