Volleyball Recap: Seven Straight Home Victories for Fulton

The Fulton Pirates earned a 2-0 win over the Brandon Blackhawks on Monday.

Fulton never let Brandon on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 27-25, 25-19.

Brandon's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Brooke Roberts, who had ten digs and three assists, and Eleanor Peterson, who had six digs and two aces. Peterson is crushing it when it comes to aces: she's served at least two every time she's taken the court this season.

Fulton's victory was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-2-2. As for Brandon, their loss dropped their record down to 2-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fulton will head out to square off against Coleman at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The game will give the Pirates their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Brandon, they will head out on the road to challenge Holly at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
