The Odem Owls will take on the Santa Rosa Warriors at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Odem is headed into the contest after thoroughly thrashing Banquete: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Owls blew the Bulldogs out of the water with a 43-6 final score. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 29-6.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Santa Rosa, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They blew past Monte Alto 59-0 on Friday. The victory continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Blue Devil: they've now won eight in a row.
On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Santa Rosa's defense and their five sacks. That dominant display was truly a team effort as five different players picked up one apiece.
Santa Rosa's win bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Odem, their victory bumped their record up to 8-1.
