South Range posted their closest win since November 22, 2024 on Friday. In a tight contest that could have gone either way, they made off with a 32-31 victory over the Hubbard Eagles. The Raiders haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

Despite the loss, Hubbard still got an impressive performance from Michael Hazimihalis, who rushed for 126 yards and two scores on only 12 carries, and also picked up 66 receiving yards and one touchdown. The bulk of those receiving yards came from one huge play: a catch that gained an incredible 50 yards. Braydon Songer was another key player, rushing for 57 yards and one TD.

South Range's victory bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Hubbard, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-3.

South Range didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 46-7 win against Berkshire on the 31st. As for Hubbard, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 35-13 defeat against Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin on the 31st.
