Softball Recap: Bucyrus Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Bucyrus can now relate to. They came up short against the Buckeye Central Bucks on Tuesday, falling 11-1. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Redmen couldn't push the score so high this time.

Bucyrus has also been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-14 record this season. As for Buckeye Central, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season.

Bucyrus does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Buckeye Central, they will take on Wynford at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The last five games the Royals have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
