Mesa has gone a perfect 4-0 against Maryvale recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Mesa Jackrabbits will look to defend their home field against the Maryvale Panthers at 3:45 p.m.

After dropping their season opener at home, Maryvale is headed out to face a Jackrabbits squad ready to give their home crowd a win. Mesa came up short against San Luis on Wednesday, falling 14-2. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

Mesa saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brooklyn Isom, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Meanwhile, Maryvale hadn't done well against Valley Vista recently (they were 0-6 in their previous six matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Maryvale walked away with an 8-3 victory over Valley Vista. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Panthers.

Mesa took their win against Maryvale when the teams last played back in March of 2020 by a conclusive 17-3. Will Mesa repeat their success, or does Maryvale have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
