Baseball Recap: Valley Comes Up Short

Valley lost against Resurrection Christian back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Vikings took a 10-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cougars. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Seth Kissler made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 3-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Caleb Dudley, who went 1-for-4 with one stolen base and two RBI.

Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Resurrection Christian, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-4.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Valley is set to face off against their familiar foe Liberty Common at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Resurrection Christian will take on rival Platte Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
