Volleyball Game Preview: Hopi Bruins vs. Northland Prep Academy Spartans + How To Watch

The Hopi Bruins will head out on the road to take on the Northland Prep Academy Spartans at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopi is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.

Hopi came up short against Valley on Thursday, falling 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-8, 25-14.

Northland Prep Academy won the last time they faced Pinon and Malia Turner did her part to make sure it happened again. The Spartans blew past the Eagles 3-0 on Tuesday with plenty of help from Turner, who had 11 digs and seven aces. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last seven games she's played.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Northland Prep Academy was: they took every set by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-6, 25-12, 25-15.

Hopi's loss dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Northland Prep Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-8 record this season.

Hopi suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Northland Prep Academy in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. Can the Bruins avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
