Baseball Recap: Haysville Campus Comes Up Short

Haysville Campus was the 11-6 winner over South when they last played one another on Tuesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Colts fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 9-7 on Tuesday.

Lukas White made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. Camden Stateler was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 3-for-4.

Haysville Campus' loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 8-3. As for South, their record is now 8-4.

Looking ahead, Haysville Campus is taking a road trip to challenge Circle on Monday. As for South, they will welcome Salina Central at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
