Kosciusko's rock-solid pitchers showed up for the team's fifth consecutive shutout on Friday. They didn't even let the Greenwood Bulldogs on the board, marking the Whippets' second-straight 10-0 shutout. Considering the Whippets have won 12 matches by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Kosciusko's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-3. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.5 runs on average over those games. As for Greenwood, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Kosciusko didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Ripley on the 4th. As for Greenwood, they will head out to take on Houston at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
