Lake Zurich won the last time they faced Lakes and things went their way on Saturday too. The Bears came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 2-0. The win was familiar territory for the Bears, who have now won three matches in a row.

Gabe Schwartz paced Lake Zurich's offense, picking up seven kills. Schwartz got some help from Wyatt Jones and his 14 assists. Jones was also solid from the service line: he led the team with two aces.

Lake Zurich's victory bumped their record up to 10-1. As for Lakes, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-8.

Lake Zurich wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Grayslake Central on the 19th. As for Lakes, they have also already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against Grant Community on the 19th.
