Softball Recap: Elkins Comes Up Short

Saturday just wasn't the day for Elkins's offense. They came up short against the Sheridan Yellowjackets on Saturday, falling 7-0. The game marked the first time this season in which the Elks were not able to get on the board.

Elkins' defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Sheridan, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-2.

Elkins didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-2 victory against McGehee on the 14th. As for Sheridan, they have also already played their next contest, a 4-1 win against Lamar on the 14th.
