Carrizo Springs had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Pearsall on Tuesday.  Loss or not, Pearsall got some senior leadership from  Saray Melendez and  Alayna Zapata.  Melendez  had 11  aces, while  Zapata  had five  aces.
Carrizo Springs' victory bumped their record up to 9-11. As for Pearsall, their defeat was  their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season, which  dropped their record down to 3-17.
