After failing to score in their last game, Martin made sure to put some goals up on the board against Sam Houston on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Sam Houston Texans a 5-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Warriors, who have now won four matches by five goals or more so far this season.

They hit Sam Houston with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Xitlaly Ortega (2), Tania Solis, Hailey Swafford, and Lily Fratangelo.

The victory got Martin back to even at 4-4-2. As for Sam Houston, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-7-1.

Looking ahead, Martin will take on Arlington at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Martin is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.8 goals per game this season. As for Sam Houston, they will look to defend their home pitch on Friday against Haltom at 6:00 p.m.
