Recap: Tri-Cities Bulldogs vs. Creekside Seminoles

The Tri-Cities Bulldogs''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their sixth straight loss. They took a serious blow against Creekside, falling 65-6. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Tri-Cities in their matchups with Creekside: they've now lost six in a row.

Creekside got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Vinson Berry out in front who threw for 84 yards and three touchdowns, and also punched in a rushing score. Berry hasn't dropped below three passing touchdowns for three straight games. Roderick McCrary and his 81 yards on the ground were also a key factor in Creekside's win.

Tri-Cities' loss was their eighth straight on the road (dating back to last season), which dropped their overall record down to 2-7. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 9.1 points per game. As for Creekside, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 8-1.

Tri-Cities will look to defend their home field on Friday against Jackson at 7:30 p.m. As for Creekside, they will head out on the road to face off against Banneker at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Banneker will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings (they are ranked 239th, while Creekside is ranked 35th).
