Football Game Preview: Riceville vs. Don Bosco

Riceville had trouble last Friday, and unfortunately for them, their opponent this week is a big step up in difficulty. On Friday they will take on Don Bosco at 7:00 PM. Don Bosco will need to watch out since Riceville have now posted big point totals in their last three contests.

If Riceville were riding high off their 54-20 takedown of North Iowa two weeks ago, that ride came to an abrupt end. Riceville fell to Rockford 40-50.

Meanwhile, Don Bosco got themselves on the board against North Iowa, but North Iowa never followed suit. Don Bosco took the matchup and then some with a 52-0 win over North Iowa. The lopsided score is just par for the course this season for Don Bosco, who can brag about six blowout wins.

Don Bosco's victory lifted them to 7-1 while Riceville's loss dropped them down to 3-5. After the lofty point totals in their previous games, we'll see if they're able to heat things up even more while facing each other.
