Football Preview: Norris Titans vs. Pius X Thunderbolts

Norris and Pius X are an even 3-3 against one another since October of 2014, but not for long. The Norris Titans will challenge the Pius X Thunderbolts at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Joseph Andreasen continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 224 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 8.3 yards per carry. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 130.8 rushing yards per game. Amudi Musa was another key player, rushing for 76 yards and a touchdown.

The victory got Norris back to even at 2-2. As for Pius X, their win ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-2.

Friday's match might be decided in the on the ground. Norris has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 196.2 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Pius X struggles in that department as they've been averaging 169.5. It's looking like Friday's matchup might have some serious battles in the trenches.
