Volleyball Recap: Atlantic Christian Sharks vs. Sagemont Prep Lions
Atlantic Christian extended their postseason success on Tuesday against Sagemont Prep. They won by a set and slipped past the Lions 3-2. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-1 back in September.
Atlantic Christian took Sagemont Prep into a fifth set where they got it done with a eight-point win. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-10, 16-25, 25-21, 15-7.
Despite the defeat, Sagemont Prep saw an underclassman step up: freshman Juliana Aristizabal had 24 digs and three aces. Those 24 digs set a new season-high mark for Aristizabal.
